85th Scouts
The 85th Scouts are aged 11 to 13
When: We meet on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30. We do still have some room! Visit Scout.ca sign up.
We're upping our game for the 85th Scouts. It's the Scouts who help come up with the programs and activities. Camps, campfires, da vinci bridge building, cooking, quinzhee building, astronomy it's constantly changing.
Because you frequently ask:
- Typically our Troop, like all the sections for the 85th, has about a third young women. Scouting has been completely co-ed since the mid-90s, and we are accepting no matter how our friends self-identify.
- Yes, we do organize camps, usually three any given year for Scouts.
- No, we are not a badge-driven group. Our activities easily qualify for badges, but we focus on the value of the activity, not the badge.
